She

She came gliding towards me
I watched as she shimmied her way past the crowd
Hips undulating in rhythm with the music
She locked eyes with me and held my gaze
An upbeat tempo
Her stance became more aggressive
She was the predator and she stalked me
She danced right up close and pinned me to the wall
Her breath ran down the length of my body
Her movements traced every curve
Her hands flitting, exploring hidden crannies
Her body moulding against mine
We shared the same breath
Her eyes swept to the curve of my lips
She pressed even closer
Licked her lips in anticipation
We could have been the only people in the room
I was completely mesmerized
This daemon, succubus, vampire, (woman!),
Held me completely enthralled
I couldn’t breathe, couldn’t move
I didn’t know what to do with my hands
I couldn’t move my eyes from her gaze
I was very hot, very wet, extremely bothered.
The music stopped
Loud clapping broke the spell
We had garnered an audience
She broke away, gave a little bow to the crowd
With a blown kiss, she skipped off to find new prey
My knees finally gave way and I sank into a nearby chair
Flushed eyes, nipples pebble hard
I looked and felt … thoroughly spent.

Intense right? (smile)
Desire is desire is desire.
Sometimes you don't get to chose who turns you on. You just get turned on.
Sometimes you get worked up by the most unexpected things and themost unexpected people..

She most definitely worked you up and almost turned you out.. and wow for an audience lol...
The Voyeur in me would have wanted to be there, but then I love to acknowledge the voyeur in me lol.

I think this is a very well written poem with lots of vivid imagery! I can actually see the scene set out in front of me. Its interesting and controversial, which I think is deliberate so as to leave it open to interpretation.

I for one can't see how this and your second poem are about the same person but if anyone else can, please share!

I like this. I interpreted it as a woman writing from a man's perspective. Definitely my favorite.

Thanks Kiibaati - interesting view. I almost feel sorry for men if this is how they feel with women.
